  1. Great reblog, truth. This is so totally true and scary, too. We live in interesting times. I live near the so called buffer zone which means within a 100 miles of the Canadian border. A lot of people don’t realize that our rights are suspended because of this. So, at any time for any reason they can pull you over, search you, detain you, whatever they want. A few times they’ve herded people off of city buses and demanded to see ID. Ironically, our local law enforcement actually tangled with the feds a few times. They were getting pulled over and searched. We’ve had several lawsuits over this stuff, so at least people are paying attention.

    The labeling of people radicals and extremists has been a concern for some time now. LOL, I live in the middle of liberal utopia, so yeah, in comparison to many people, I am frequently called a “radical extremist.” The problem is that can mean something as simple as not endorsing gay marriage…or questioning city politics. It can be very fascist here.
