This is a really great piece on what the author dubs the matter of “Nephilim Eschatologists”, and the slippery slope associated with contorting various Bible verses in order to elevate the Genesis 6 narrative….
“No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.”Mark 2:21,22
In the context of Mark 2 Jesus is telling the Pharisees that you cannot put new doctrine into vessels that are set in their ways, traditions, or doctrines. Just prior to this they asked his disciples why he ate with tax collectors and sinners and Jesus answered saying, “They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
