ISIS and The Greater Israel Project…

stop_israel_us_saudi_arabia_turkey_qatar_supporting_isis_terrorists

Recently, I learned about a fascinating document titled “A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties” by Israeli journalist Oded Yinon. The article originally appeared in Kivunim (Directions), the journal of the Department of Information of the World Zionist Organization, and essentially outlines the Israeli plan to gain total hegemony in the region and eventually achieve the realization of “Greater Israel”.

The foreward to the translation of this document, written by Israel Shahak, outlines the main points projected by the body of the piece:

1. The idea that all the Arab states should be broken down, by Israel, into small units, occurs again and again in Israeli strategic thinking. For example, Ze’ev Schiff, the military correspondent of Ha’aretz (and probably the most knowledgeable in Israel, on this topic) writes about the “best” that can happen for Israeli interests in Iraq: “The dissolution of Iraq into a Shi’ite state, a Sunni state and the separation of the Kurdish part” (Ha’aretz 6/2/1982). Actually, this aspect of the plan is very old.palestinian-land-grab-jewish-bloc-settlement-conquering-palestine-israel-netanyahu-west-bank

2. The strong connection with Neo-Conservative thought in the USA is very prominent, especially in the author’s notes. But, while lip service is paid to the idea of the “defense of the West” from Soviet power, the real aim of the author, and of the present Israeli establishment is clear: To make an Imperial Israel into a world power. In other words, the aim of Sharon is to deceive the Americans after he has deceived all the rest.

3. It is obvious that much of the relevant data, both in the notes and in the text, is garbled or omitted, such as the financial help of the U.S. to Israel. Much of it is pure fantasy. But, the plan is not to be regarded as not influential, or as not capable of realization for a short time. The plan follows faithfully the geopolitical ideas current in Germany of 1890-1933, which were swallowed whole by Hitler and the Nazi movement, and determined their aims for East Europe. Those aims,

especially the division of the existing states, were carried out in 1939-1941, and only an alliance on the global scale prevented their consolidation for a period of time.

Now, as you start to understand this tactic of breaking up the surrounding Arab states and keeping them in a perpetual, weakened state of sectarian fighting and borderline anarchy, the recent developments of all that has occurred in the Middle East since 9/11, and the sudden appearance of the latest terrorist boogeyman “ISIS”, start to make a lot more sense….

New World DISorder…

TRUTHSTREAM NEWS, EPISODE 1

Reposting this fantastic synopsis of so many current global events which I first saw over on Tim Clark’s stellar blog NoWorksSalvationApocalypseNow.

They pack a lot of info into this, and I was particularly fascinated by the segment that went into the “Arc of Tension”, which maps all the areas in the world where the Hegelian dialect approach to war/strife has been applied to break up existing countries and “cultivate the soil” so-to-speak, so the NWO powers can later swoop in and set up their own power structures. “Letters to the New World Order” is pretty hilarious too. Not bad for their first episode like this.

On a bit of a side-note, lately as I watch the ongoing crisis/turmoil going on all over the Middle East, with “Isis” running around slaughtering people and rapidly taking over portions of Iraq and Syria etc., well, I guess the way it’s being portrayed in the media, and “sold” to us as the gullible American public, as this quasi-army of terrorists, super-well funded, (and yet somehow the American government is unable to pin-point where their funding is coming from?) Anyhow… It almost makes me laugh. Because I can’t help but find myself seeing these images of masked marauders wreaking havoc and spreading evil in their wake as they spread terror across the world, because honestly, it is so unrealistic and unbelievable from a historical and rational point of view, but instead the exact same thing I grew up watching in cartoon form every afternoon after school… The “Joes”, our American Heroes, were always fighting “Cobra”, an “evil terrorist organization”, that seemed to have no other aims that to destroy peace and freedom and the American way of life….
cobra
They represented no one country, no people group, no governmental system… They followed a charismatic evil leader.  They always wore masks… They were the “bad guys” who kids growing up in the Eighties were conditioned to want to go and fight. Then, of course, in 2009 they come out with movie version remake called “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”.

Hmmmm. Maybe 2014 could be called “The Rise of Isis”….  The more I see how common and obvious the “programming” really is, the more disgusting it becomes to me.

Oh, Amerika…

statueofdesolation

So yesterday I was listening to the latest podcast by Chris White, where he is talking about a few different topics, one of which being the whole question of whether or not we see America being any kind of “player” in the Last Days…

He has some good things to say about the matter, but then shortly after this I went and read these incredible comments left by Deidre on her recent post: God Will Allow False Signs And Wonders.

Perhaps I could just go ahead and repost the entire article, because everything she has to say here is just phenomenal. I’m honestly still taking it all in. One of the main things she mentions which really resonated with me was this idea of the United States being analogous to the False Prophet, and Israel being analogous to the Beast. Now, I will say that I still do believe that there will be coming two literal figures who will be the Beast and False Prophet, but as with so many other instances of scripture, I definitely accept this idea of there being the possibility of several layers of fulfillment.

The idea that the U.S. could be justly labeled as the “False Prophet” for Israel has merit, to my thinking, for anyone who understands much about the “New World Order” and all that has already occurred over the past couple hundred years in the “New Atlantis” we call America, and all that has been done through it to bring about the creation of political Israel by these same oligarchical, Luciferian puppeteers. So, as I was listening to Chris White talk about how we can’t really say for sure whether America will “be around” during the Last Days, because we don’t know just what might occur in the near future in terms of political upheavals and the progression of globalization, the possible creation of things like the “North American Union” or other large geo-political blocs or “regional concentrations”, etc., this thought occurred to me… Even IF America suddenly was wiped off the map tomorrow, and did not continue on in any form, did not become part of any coalition or union or anything, but was just GONE and done, it would STILL have played probably THE most significant role in the creation of political Israel in 1948 and the overall installation of the “beast-system-infrastructure” around the globe… So, in that sense, regardless of just how America “fits in” the Last Days events in terms of all the Middle Eastern wars and everything else, I already see it as being a “player”! It’s already had a bigger impact on the rest of the world than any other nation in terms of pop culture, entertainment, technology, government policy, economics, military expansion, over the 20th Century, and into this one. Hands down. Ok, so, all that being said, now read what Deidre wrote about America being a “type” of Babylon….

To me, the Bible is the most intriguing book b/c it is made up of many books inspired by Spirit filled people. And because there is no depth, nor end to the beauty and majesty and power and wonder of our LORD, the Bible is like an onion, with layers upon layers of understanding and not just natural man type understanding but spiritual understanding.

I believe America is a TYPE of Babylon. According to 1 John 5:19 the WHOLE world lies in wickedness. Many want to pin the ‘blame’ on the Vatican or Israel or Russia or whatever. Babylon is the whole world. The seven hills are the seven continents. Mountains are an allegory for ‘governments’. FATHER even describes the false church as a she (even though she is practically run by mostly men) and a whore.

When JESUS rode into Jerusalem on a donkey (a beast of burden), I believe HE was showing us a parable. Our flesh is a beast of burden: our spirit self lives inside this beast-it fights against us and thus is a burden. What did Paul say?

Romans 7 14For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

The flesh is a beast!!! How many times I have wanted to kick myself or worse for the thing that I knew was wrong, but did anyways? Why? I know in my heart I want to serve JESUS, I want to be “pure”. But JESUS said, ‘Flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of GOD.” Phew!! Amen!!! Because if that was the case, we’d be a mess FOREVER.

So here is JESUS riding into physical Jerusalem on a beast. HE is on the flesh. Will we surrender to JESUS and let HIM ride upon our flesh all the way into Spiritual Jerusalem? HE said, HIS yoke is easy and burden is light, that HE would never put on us more than we can bare! But ride upon us HE must! There is no other way. HE not only died for our sins and bore them, HE showed us how we must approach this ‘physical’ life not being concerned about what we would eat, wear, or live. FLESH MUST surrender and DIE and it must do so ‘Willingly’. Wow!!! and that is the battle Paul speaks about.

What country declares (or did) its allegiance to GOD in the form of Christianity? America. What country has aligned itself the most with Israel? America. Why does Israel claim to be a nation?

Many people refer to Luke 21:29And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

..as Israel becoming a nation. Ok so what if it is? But did JESUS say it was a GOOD thing? Is Israel a holy place? Are the Christ rejecting Jews holy? There are only two groups of people-save and unsaved. Period. Paul makes it so crystal clear that there are no titles– male/female, Jew, Gentile, or Greek. It does not matter if you are a eunuch!!! Ones physical state, nation, creed, color, is not the issue. Everything is Spiritual. When we talk about false signs and wonders–what does it matter if I raise someone from the dead, but they reject Christ? They are spiritually dead.

Do other nations of the world consider Israel to be the holy land? I mean its so holy they are ripping each other apart daily. It’s so holy there are gay pride parades, prostitution, adultery, witchcraft etc…

Perhaps if we look at things from the view of allegory, maybe we would get a different perspective.

In one layer of prophecy Jerusalem WAS surrounded and sacked. JESUS warned it would be destroyed and destroyed it was. Is it true/accurate that Israel will be surrounded again in the near future and if so why? Luke 21 again. Who are the Gentiles? What is a Gentile? According to etymonline it is one who is not a Christian, and also one who is not a Jew. So, some faction, a group of non believers in GOD? Many times throughout the Bible, GOD would warn of something and it may not come to pass for days, months, years. The same happened with JESUS and HIS declaration that Jerusalem would be destroyed. That already happened.

So basically you’ve got a bunch of spiritually dead people, playing a lot of dead games. It’s all dead because it is all flesh. So can Israel be the beast? Or one layer of what ‘the beast’ is? Sure! It sure is fleshly!

I can’t tell you how much this explanation makes so much sense to me…  I’m beginning to think more and more that so much of the time, when we get into discussions and studies of prophecy and eschatology, we often get caught into thinking it’s always an “either/or” kind of choice, in terms of how something might be fulfilled, and we end up spending hours upon hours debating and trying to place one idea over another, when I think a lot of the time (maybe not all the time, but sometimes) there is the possibility that both perspectives carry a good degree of truth, and both forms of fulfillment have validity because prophecy, (like Deidre so eloquently puts it) can work on multiple “layers”.  I hope such a statement doesn’t come across as some sort of relativistic statement about truth, because I certainly believe that Truth is quite objective, and knowable, and not relativistic whatsoever.  Prophecy, I suppose, because it comes straight from the eternal, omniscient and infinite mind of a sovereign God, has to be allowed to work on such multiple layers, because God is certainly capable of weaving it all together, using true historical elements and events from the past to foreshadow and typify things yet to come, all within the realm of humanity that operates with true free will!  It blows my mind to really stop and think about how that can even be, but it’s true.  Anyhow, I could probably start a whole separate BLOG in which I did nothing else but talk about all the ways that Amerika has contributed to and been used by the NWO folks to push the AC agenda forward, but I won’t. 🙂

“TTISTF1” Testing, Testing, is this thing on…?

Ok, so after a week or two of all this rather intense back and forth with a number of people about the whole issue of Israel, I figured I’d try and “wrap it up” with a little audio message (actually, it’s not what you could call “little”) but just to basically try and summarize all the points being brought up in all of it, and hopefully be able to move on somewhat from it all, as I certainly don’t want to “define myself” or even this little blog here as just being all about harping on this matter of the Israeli government being connected to the broader New World Order and over-arching anti-Christ system…

Christopher Bollyn tracing 9/11 Crimes back to NWO and Netanyahu…

An EXCELLENT presentation given by Christopher Bollyn in Gothenburg, Sweden a couple months ago. The first half is essentially a primer on 9/11 Truth for anyone not familiar with the litany of inconsistencies of the official story. While that part itself is superbly done, but for folks like me who’ve “been there / done that” and understand all that already, it starts getting really interesting around the 137 minute mark where he mentions the “Zionist war agenda”, and then around the 150 minute mark he starts going into more detail about the connections between the perps of 9/11 and the “far right wing” of Israel…

He also touches on a number of fascinating little tidbits of information during the Q & A section towards the end which include things the evidence for how “Extreme Zionism itself actually creates anti-Semitism in order to compel Jews to move to Palestine…” (153 min. mark), or the father of Rom Immanuel being a Zionist terrorist who was also the one responsible for those trillions of missing dollars in the Pentagon which Rumsfeld announced on Sept. 10. and who sells us the computerized vote-counting machines we use…

The portion which talks about the agenda of Netanyahu Institute and how it essentially conceived of the idea for the “war on terror” back in the 70’s to be particularly interesting…. (2:17 mark)

Overall a pretty stellar lecture which pulls together a lot of info into a very coherent and alarming whole. I think I’d have to agree with at least 99% of what he has to say here, if not the whole 100… (I’ll reserve a one percent for myself, just in case he said something weird in there that I missed…)

Info on Christopher Bollyn taken from the youtube posting: Christopher Bollyn is an American journalist who has investigated the events of 9-11. He helped Professor Steven E. Jones in the spring and summer of 2006, when Jones found solid evidence of Thermite in the dust of the Twin Towers. The discovery and discussion of Thermite in the demolition of the World Trade Center led to serious trouble for both Jones and Bollyn. In the end Bollyn had to go into exile.

Christopher Bollyn has written several book on the subject, for example “Solving 9-11: The Deception that Changed the World”.

The lecture was arranged by the Cui Bono Association.

“Abandoned” Israel…?

pentahexagonagram

I keep hearing this sort of statement.  “The United States has abandoned Israel”.  It’s almost as though every time anyone in the media even MENTIONS the deaths of Palestinian children, or a blown up hospital, it’s treated as though CNN was calling for the eradication of the entire Jewish populace.  I honestly don’t get it. If nothing else, to me these sorts of commentaries only speak to the incredible degree of bias and selective hearing on behalf of the people saying them. (people mostly comprised of well-meaning, “Hagee-ized” Christians in America and other places…)

I should probably attempt to make it clear from the get-go that I am not endeavoring to call people to “support” EITHER side of this conflict in any sort of political way. The only point is that from all that I observe, it is simply a most bizarre and confounding position indeed to hear so many people decrying this idea that the “United States has turned it’s back on Israel”, because I really don’t comprehend how on any level this is actually true.

Is it simply because the American media is actually willing to report the deaths of innocent children in Gaza, and show images of their mangled bodies on television? I admit that this in itself is probably something that should be treated with a fair amount of suspicion, from a discern-the-propaganda standpoint, since we know that we certainly don’t see the same sorts of images of murdered innocents in places like Iraq or Afghanistan too often, when they die at the hands of American troops…  Yet even so, I am still compelled to believe that if the true “agenda” of the Elite-controlled media was to outright demonize Israel and paint the ongoing military operations of the IDF as indefensible or “crimes against humanity”, then we would certainly see it happening in much sharper fashion than this!  We wouldn’t see American reporters constantly interviewing Netanyahu and IDF spokesman, allowing them to even try to explain their reasons for the assaults.  We would see the same kind of treatment as we do for figures like Putin, or Bashar Al-assad, or Kim John Un.  Those are all examples of folks the government-controlled media has painted as the “bad guys” and aggressors, etc.  It’s a far cry from anything we ever hear being said about Israel, even in the “Palestinian-loving Leftist media”…

israeliapachechopperBut the reality is that the true definition of what it would mean for a nation like the U.S. to “support” Israel in either war time or peace time, is not found in the murky propaganda war taking place in the “news” outlets or prophecy-teacher’s pulpits. It is actually easily traced and easily researched through conventional channels. It is not some shady “conspiracy theory” assembled through looking at tenuous business associations or obscure documentation or whatever else we might wish to speculate upon. It’s an in-your-face fact. The United States is THE biggest “supporter” of the Israeli Defense Force, both in terms of funding and actual military hardware, hands down.  This is an indisputable fact

The “Iron Dome” missile defense system we keep hearing so much glowing praise about from reporters and IDF spokesmen? The U.S. has been a prime investor. All the fighter planes which allow the IDF to carry out aerial attacks against terrorist targets? The vast majority are American made, through a long-standing partnership between Israeli and American defense contractors, including a large number of weapon systems and special modifications which are tailor-made for the Israel’s needs…  And what about the myriad of connections and collaborations between the nefarious domestic spying programs of the NSA and Israel? Connections which seem to go beyond any mere “partnership”, but actually suggest that much of the technology being used by the NSA actually came FROM Israel first, and essentially show that Israeli Intelligence has more keys to more back doors than anyone else, and is in fact spying on all kinds of citizens around the globe, (even though they are obviously nowhere near close enough to Israel to start launching rockets into Israeli territory or pose any kind of possible terrorist threat)…

I could fill pages upon pages citing evidence of this very real partnership, a partnership which proves whatever lamentations about how the U.S. might be “abandoning” Israel, either military or financially, as being totally ludicrous.  I would have to say that the amount of evidence is SO overwhelming in fact, that the onus is actually on the reader, to disprove that such a tight relationship is still in existence to this very day between the “military-industrial-intelligence-complex” that might still be claimed to reside largely on American soil or be run by American corporations (a notion which I’d suggest could itself be debated), and it’s Siamese twin over in the Middle Eastern country of Israel.

It just seems rather difficult to have an informed, intelligent discussion over what our stance on Israel should be as Christians, if we can’t even take the time to establish the political and military realities first…

Rampin up…

Man…  There is just so much going on right now, it’s almost impossible to touch on it all.  Lemme stop and see if I can bullet-point just some of the things that filling the headlines right this very minute…

remnants-ukrainian-army-aircraftOkay, so a Malaysian passenger airline was just shot down over Ukraine, and is being attributed to the pro-Russian “rebels”, of course.  (I love how it’s always “the rebels”…)  Quite obviously, the situation in the Ukraine isn’t simmering down, and we can see the revived Cold War propaganda machine now being increasingly merged with the war-on-terror narrative in order to maintain the escalation in this region, and, most likely, keep pushing towards the long-awaited West vs. East, Nato vs. Russia showdown…

Rockets are flying in Gaza, and IDF missiles are killing boys on beaches, cease-fires are being broken, and people keep on dying in Israel.  Troops are ready to roll and flush out the “terrorists”.  Israeli reservists are being called up.  Netanyahu keeps talking about being prepared for an “extended operation”.  Yikes….rockets

“ISIS”, or “ISIL”, or just “IS”, which seemed to suddenly arise from out of almost nowhere, is now rolling through Iraq and the Middle East, curiously well-armed and organized, posing a brand new, “Islamo-fundamentalist” threat to both Israel, and the various U.S./Nato military forces who are now stationed across the Middle East.  Lovely…

On the homefront…  Thousands of immigrant “children” keep unexplainably showing up at the Mexican border to the United States, and, unexplainably, despite all legal and historical precedent to the contrary, are for some reason being let through, creating a immigrationoverloadballballooning crisis of what to do with this sudden influx of illegal immigrants.  (I love how the media keeps on referring to them as just “children”, even though everybody knows it isn’t this massive crowd of kids that somehow made their way to the Mexican border from Central America, all alone, without their parents or anything, but in fact, whole families of people!)  Interestingly enough, while perusing good ol’ infowars today, I came across this link to an article from 3 years ago, talking about how then DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano “according to a statement by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, recently directed ICE to develop a national-level mass migration plan. The plan will outline how to address the health care, sheltering, processing, transition and disposition of large numbers of undocumented individuals who might arrive in the U.S. as the result of a mass migration, said ICE on Dec. 13.” (of 2011…)  Fascinating….

These are some crazy times we are living in, and they just keep getting crazier…  Jesus give us your strength to stand on your Word and hold to our trust in You…

Where even the Christian Conspiracy Theorists fear to tread…

israelipyramid

Some very poignant articles and podcasts have been done examining the use of the term “conspiracy theorist” as a weaponized term.  A masterful piece of pejorative social programming.  Simple name-calling that has proven remarkably effective in shaping the way so many people think about reality, and people who offer points of view which challenge their own…

I believe the same sort of case could be made for the term “replacement theology”, (or “replacement theologian”).  Despite it’s seemingly dry and academic sounding appearance, the term, or more precisely the robust amount of disparaging and insinuating content attached to the term, packs quite a wallop in terms of it’s effectiveness as a label to avoided at all cost within Christianity.   Few things sting worse than to essentially be called an anti-Semite, or a Jew-hater, and that is essentially, in a round-about way, what the term conveys.  That is just one reason, I would propose, that the 20th Century rise of Zionism within the Evangelical Church took hold, and remains so firmly entrenched, even amongst Christians who are willing to question the long-alleged “godliness” of their own government, despite the teaching being so contrary to what the Bible itself has to say.

I grew up in a home where Christian novels about Jews returning to “Zion” after WWII lined the shelves.  I was taught all about how the Jews were “God’s chosen people” and the “Apple of His Eye”, and how the Abrahamic Covenant provided all the understanding necessary to see why since 1948, this tiny little nation with almost no army and no military might were able to fend off their Arab aggressors time and time again since being “formed in a day”…  The serene colors of pastel blue and white in the Israeli flag were often seeing blowing in the breeze right next to the old stars and stripes.   Being a Christian meant fully and unconditionally supporting the modern nation/state of Israel.  Period.  That was that.

In retrospect I know of course find it rather interesting, and not at all surprising, that these kinds of socio/political views were held right alongside the views which believed that America was founded as a “Christian nation”, and that good ol’ George Washington and Jefferson and Benny Franklin were all God-fearing men whose belief in the Word of God served as the basis for the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution…

Fast forward to about 2010…  Suddenly my “worldview” is in shambles as I am shocked to learn that our government isn’t merely being mismanaged by a bunch of bumbling, greedy politicians, but instead actually being steered, quite expertly, towards a set of finely-tuned globalist goals.  WTC towers (3 of them) don’t suddenly implode and collapse into dust because a guy in a cave smuggled in a dozen cokeheads.  The rulers in Washington like to “cremate their cares” in front of huge stone owls in the woods.  Skull and Bones ain’t just another ivy-league fraternity for rich kids with a creepy logo.  Freemasons aren’t just a club for guys who wanna network and learn to be better citizens.  And, oh yeah, that pyramid/eye thing on the back of our money, (our fiat currency printed out of thin air, by a bunch of conspiring bankers), that’s the eye of Lucifer, the dude all of em are working so hard to prepare the way for him to come and take his rightful place as the absolute ruler of a global empire unlike the world has ever seen…

So yeah, no big wup.  Just learning that guys like Aleister Crowley had something to do with Parsons and whatever happened at Roswell, and whatever all that has to do with UFO’s, and underground bases, and black masses under the Vatican, and little children being taken from the homes in the middle of the night into secret chambers where they are tortured and having alters created and demonized in front of guys like Joseph Mengele and being child sex slaves for Bob Hope.  This is it.  This is the world we really live in.  This is the real America.  The gritty, ugly, and bizarre world that is going on underneath, while the majority are living in oblivion, ordering Domino’s and watching sitcoms.  There are nasty things going on under the surface, in the underground tunnels at Disneyland.  Both figuratively, and literally.  Thank you, red pill…

But even though, (thanks largely to the internet), the numbers of people like myself who are having the scales from their eyes removed are slowly growing, and seeing how all of this occulticly-driven conspiracy actually lines right up with what the Bible prophetically says will happen in the Last Days, there is also this massive roadblock which stubbornly sets itself in the middle of the street in the minds of many, many Christians who would wish to see the world unemcumbered…

The indoctrination of “Christian Zionism”, is SO deep, has entrenched itself so firmly, that even many believers in Christ who recognize that there are some extremely deceptive and malevolent forces at work in places like the U.N. and Washington D.C., STILL cannot allow themselves to believe that those same types of deceptive forces are every bit as much at work in the political and military machinations of the state of Israel.  It is as unthinkable to them as the idea that Bin Laden didn’t start the “War on Terror” is to most “M’ercans”.  Modern Israel is the single most untouchable, unquestionable entity in the world to so many Evangelicals, and when you add to the fact that it is the centerpiece of three of world’s biggest religions, it becomes clear why the fallen cherub would center his Apollyonic empire around this particular location and identity.

Lately I’ve been listening to all of Chris White’s podcasts regarding the identity of the anti-Christ, and his studies into Jewish and Muslim eschatology, which are absolutely fascinating and I highly recommend every one of them.   I think everything he has outlined from his studies of the books of Daniel and Revelation fit perfectly into everything we see today in terms of political Israel and it’s position within the broader New World Order superstructure.   Following is a short video outlining the connections between the NSA domestic surveillance program and it’s Israeli counterpart, as a sort of “exhibit A”.

Israel and the millennial reign of Christ…

The following is from a biblical Q & A site.  I stumbled across it, and found myself clicking on the question “What is the purpose of the thousand-year reign of Christ?”, mainly because, well, I have been wondering about that very question myself for some time now.  As I read through the answers provided, it made me begin to suspect perhaps there is a connection between my ongoing, unanswered questions surrounding the millenium, and my own views regarding the whole debate surrounding things like “Replacement theology”, the fulfillment of Covenants, the true identity of Israel, etc…  But anyhow, first, here is the Q & A, then I’ll say my piece afterwards…

Question: “What is the purpose of the thousand-year reign of Christ?”

Answer: The Millennium (also known as the millennial Kingdom) is the 1000-year reign of Jesus after the Tribulation and before all the people of the world are sent to heaven or hell. Jesus will reign as King over Israel as well as all the nations of the world (Isaiah 2:4; 42:1). The world will live in peace (Isaiah 11:6-9; 32:18), Satan will be bound (Revelation 20:1-3) and, at the beginning, everyone will worship God (Isaiah 2:2-3). The purpose of the 1000-year reign is to fulfill promises God made to the world that cannot be fulfilled while Satan is free and humans have political authority. Some of these promises, called covenants, were given specifically to Israel. Others were given to Jesus, the nations of the world, and creation. All of these will be fulfilled during Jesus’ 1000-year reign.

The Palestinian Covenant (Deuteronomy 30:1-10)
God has already fulfilled the personal aspects of the Abrahamic covenant; Abraham did go to the Promised Land, he did have many descendants, and he is the forefather of many nations. Several hundred years after Abraham, Joshua led the Israelites to claim ownership of the Promised Land. But Israel has never possessed the specific boundaries that God promised in Genesis 15:18-20 and Numbers 34:1-12. Not even Solomon ruled over this particular area (1 Kings 4:21-24). Although he did reign from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates, he did not hold the area from Mount Hor to Hazarenan (Numbers 34:7-9)—into present-day Lebanon and Syria. In addition, the covenant God made with Abraham was that he and his descendants would have the land for eternity (Genesis 13:15; 17:8; Ezekiel 16:60). The current Israeli state may be a step in this direction, but they still do not possess the boundaries God laid out.

The Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7)
God’s covenant with David was that his line would never die out and that David’s heir would sit on the throne of Israel forever (2 Samuel 7:16). Biblical scholars agree that Jesus is the fulfillment of this covenant—one of the reasons His genealogy is given for both His step-father (Matthew 1:1-17) and His mother (Luke 3:23-38). The Jews understood this when they laid down palm branches and their cloaks as Jesus rode into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1-17). They expected Him to be a military/political leader that would liberate them from the Romans and make Israel a great nation again. But they didn’t understand the nature of Jesus’ work at the time was for the New Covenant, not the Davidic Covenant. The 1000-year reign will be the beginning of Jesus’ eternal reign over Israel and the earth (Revelation 20:4, 6).

The New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34)
The work of the New Covenant—Jesus’ death and resurrection to reconcile hearts to God—has been accomplished. But we have not yet seen the complete fulfillment. Jeremiah 31:33 says, “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Ezekiel 36:28 gives more specifics: “You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.” Isaiah 59:20-21 explains that this covenant is possible because of the Redeemer, and the reconciliation He provides will last forever. This covenant does not mean that every Jew will be saved. But it does mean that Israel as a nation will worship their Messiah. The Old Testament prophets who spoke of this covenant, including Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, and Ezekiel, all wrote that it will be fulfilled in the future. From their time on, Israel has yet to be an independent nation that worshiped its Messiah (Romans 9-11). They will be in the 1000-year reign.

Other Promises
Those are the covenants God made with Israel that are to be fulfilled in Jesus’ 1000-year reign, but the Bible lists other promises that will be fulfilled. God promised Jesus He will make His enemies a footstool, and that Jesus’ followers will worship Him freely (Psalm 100). God promised the nations of the world that they would live in peace with Jesus as their ruler (Daniel 7:11-14). And He promised creation that the curse would be lifted (Romans 8:18-23), animals and the earth would be restored to peace and prosperity (Isaiah 11:6-9; 32:13-15), and people would be freed from disease (Ezekiel 34:16). These, too, will be fulfilled during the 1000-year reign.

The main purpose of Jesus’ 1000-year reign is to fulfill the prophecies given to Israel and the promises made to Jesus, the nations, and the earth. God’s covenants were voluntary and one-sided. He promised He would bless Israel and restore the world in specific ways, and He will.

Alright, so according to this, the purpose of the Millenium period has a whole lot to do with God fulfilling promises made to Israel, i.e., the Jewish people, and more specifically those people in the context of being a Jewish nation/state.  Of course, many, many Christians are quite fixated on all that pertains to the modern state of Israel, because of the pervasiveness of the kinds of covenant interpretations we see being articulated above.   In fact, I was raised with more or less that type of perspective,  a perspective which comprises the main driving force behind so much of the current political support of the people, government and military of modern Israel by “evangelicals”…

But I was forced to stop and re-examine this perspective, after I finally just sat down one day and read through the entire book of Hebrews.  Suddenly I found myself being unable to ignore what felt like a good number of inconsistencies within the whole mindset that there is a “duality” amongst all these covenants, the idea that God’s promises to “Israel” are simultaneously addressing eternal/spiritual issues (for the gentiles) as well as earthly/temporal/political ones (for the Jewish people).   What I find in the book of Hebrews, and many other places, really doesn’t seem to back this idea at all.  Now, I am very much aware that the term “replacement theology” tends to carry a lot of pejorative baggage in such circles of eschatological perspective.   But the fact remains that nowhere in the New Testament have I ever found any of the biblical authors (who almost all had a Jewish heritage, although yes, I know that people question whether Luke was, but regardless) giving so much as a hint that they were looking forward to some future time when Jesus would be hailed as a political ruler of Israel as a political entity…

I find these verses in Hebrews to be particularly explicit…

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house. Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. “Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house,” bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future. But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice, 8do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness,
where your ancestors tested and tried me, though for forty years they saw what I did. 10 That is why I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ 11 So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”

12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. 15 As has just been said “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”

16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.

Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,

“So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’”

And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.” And again in the passage above he says, “They shall never enter my rest.”

Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted:

“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”

For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.  (Hebrews 3 – 4:8)

I suppose many people who hold a firm stance against the supposed ignorance of “replacement theology” might respond by saying “Well, the book of Hebrews was written to the Hebrews, of course!  So you’re misapplying everything the author is saying here…”   But I’m sorry, when you stop and actually read through the content of what is being said, that falls apart pretty quick…  I began the quotation from where I did because we can clearly see who the author is addressing: “Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus…”  (Who are “those who share in the heavenly calling”? That is everyone who believes in Jesus!)  But if that is not enough to convince someone that the message here is not for Jewish Christians alone, then you only have to keep reading, because in the following passages we see the author arguing strongly AGAINST the idea that going in and taking physical possession of the “Promised Land” amounts to the achievement of God’s “rest”.  He says: “since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it“, and later “For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.  Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience”.

So when the writer of Hebrews is urging his readers to “make every effort to enter that rest”, is he advocating that these Jewish believers in Yeshua strive on towards the goal of establishing an earthly government which encompasses all the original boundary lines promised to Abraham?  I certainly don’t find it to say anything like that…  But maybe that is where the millennial component comes in for many people, because they believe is that only Jesus’ return will be enough to establish that true Israelite nation? I don’ t know…   I must confess I still don’t quite know what exactly to think about the millennium, but what I do know is that explanations like the ones above just don’t quite seem to fit.  The issue of modern-day “evangelical” support for the (political) nation of Israel, to the point of almost absolute blind allegiance, feels more than a little suspect to me.  But then, if to the inconsistencies I’ve just mentioned, we add more considerations, such as a look into the origins and significance of the symbol refered to as the “Star of David”, or the curious amount of involvement on the part of families such as the Rockefellers (ever taken a look at the Israeli Supreme Court building…?) we find even more reason to give some serious pause…

Personally, I really kind of chafe at the term “replacement theology”, because I honestly find it to be a rather misrepresentative term in the first place, a “straw-man” argument if you will…  When I read through the Old and New testaments now, and see the “common thread” that strings it all together, that common thread is FAITH.  (that’s actually what Hebrews is all about really…)  Did God EVER really consider “His people” to be everyone with a Jewish heritage, regardless of whether they put their faith in Him, or say, in Molech or Baal or just themselves?  No!  That’s what Hebrews says very explicitly.  I mean, this was undoubtedly a super controversial book when it came out!  Not just this book, but the whole New Testament, the whole Gospel itself.  It was offensive for Jews to hear someone saying “Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.”  The author is simply showing that rebellion against God = no entering the rest.  He is pointing to moments in Jewish history which show that the promises to Abraham were never about taking possession of a piece of land, but about entering into His “Rest” with a capital R…  Just like so much else in Jewish history (such as being delivered from slavery in Egypt) the historical event of entering the physical land of Canaan was really itself through divine orchestration an allegory of the grander conclusion, the eventual establishing of Christ on the throne, where He actually WILL rule over not jus the original boundaries promised to Abraham, but indeed the whole earth.  That’s what really puzzles me about the whole argument against “replacement theology”, because it seems to wholly ignore the fact that before Jesus came, it was Faith in God that counted, just same as it was after He died and rose again!   It always had been faith which defined a “true Israelite”, not one’s ancestry, a fact which is further illuminated by the realization when we stop and remember that non-Jewish people were allowed to become “citizens” of Israel from the very beginning, so long as they worshipped God and agreed to follow His commands…

Didn’t Jesus Himself look a bunch of Pharisees in the eye and make this same, controversial point?

31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendantsand have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”

34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.”

39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered.

“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham did. 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.”

“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

Jesus says to them, “I know that you are Abraham’s descendants”, but then also, “If you were Abraham’s children then you would do what Abraham did”.  Hmmmm… How can a group of people be physically descended from Abraham, but not one of his “children”…?  Wouldn’t that mean that the Abrahamic covenant, and thus all the promises regarding “Israel”,  was actually speaking to “children of faith” all along…???  If so, then we couldn’t really say that some new definition was “replacing” a previous one, but rather, Jesus was simply reaffirming the correct way to understand these things, as all being fulfilled in Himself.  We certainly don’t dismiss Christ’s work on Calvary as being some form of “replacement theology”, as some new reinterpretation of the sacrificial system of the temple, but rather we understand the cross to be the true fulfillment of those things.  The same thing goes for things like the Passover and the High Priest and so much more.  It was always all about Jesus, and will all be completely fulfilled when He comes and sets up His kingdom on Earth.   I still have my own questions about exactly what the “purpose” of the Millenium is (basically my main “sticking point” revolves around the question of why God doesn’t just go ahead and finish Satan off entirely after His return, but no matter…), that is one of those things where if I never “figure it out”, it really doesn’t matter all that much, because it’s going to happen anyways, and God’s purposes for everything are all going to be revealed in their due time.  But for me, I personally find the questions which seek to understand what “Israel” is all about to have a much more direct impact on our lives today, not to mention the possibility of some pretty serious implications in the near future if we were to be confused on the matter….
