A Media Clinic on Vilification…

Wanna see how to get the most “anti-anti-government” bang for your news-propaganda buck? Check out this story that I happened to catch this morning on the local Vegas news.

The piece I saw on tv today featured a young woman who supposedly had gone to this guy, after being referred to him by someone at a grocery store (?), and apparently she thought he was just some kind of wholeistic medicine dude, doing herbal remedies, etc. She described how “horrified” she was when she got there and discovered that his “clinic” was being done out of a trailer on his property, and how there were bags full of blood lying around on the floor, the place was filthy, and son on. The anchor goes on to explain how Rick Van Thiel was not a licensed physician, but was performing all kinds of procedures, such as abortions, “cancer cure treatments” and so on. The interviewee even mentions how shocked she was when the man’s girlfriend walked into the room topless, and at that point she just wanted to run out of there…

Topless girlfriend, perfect segue into sharing the juicy tidbit that apparently before Thiel was a non-licensed doctor, he was a porn star and director. Quite a zinger…

The tv news story also mentions how his website featured a “nude” picture of himself, (which actually only featured his bare upper body) wherein he apparently was claiming to have been able to cure a skin condition which he had contracted after the military had exposed him to harmful chemicals.

In this article, is says that his procedures included “everything from circumcisions and tooth extractions to cancer and HIV treatment. Authorities also found two firearms and ammunition in a safe inside the trailer.”

Another excerpt says, “A notice at the bottom of one site hints at an anti-establishment mindset: “For the purposes of this website the term ‘doctor’ or ‘Doctor Rick’ is a nick name and not intended to infer state sanction or Rockefeller drug pushing training. The purpose of this site is not to beg for FDA endorsement or to diagnose or treat disease, it is to help you make informed decisions necessary to take control of your own life and health, and now to care for it in in the manor you decide is best for you.”

And in this ‘full interview’, we discover that not only did Rick learn how to perform surgeries from watching Youtube, but he is also a part of a the much-maligned ‘sovereign-citizen’ movement, with connections the notorious ‘Bundy Ranch’ and also apparently to some plot against the life of a police officer. It says, “On his website, Van Theil offered “Sovereign Babies” delivering children in his trailer without a birth certificate. Telling parents that when the child is 18 they would have the choice to be a “free being or to become a slave”

I mean, wow…

You really gotta hand it to em, because they sure recognize that when an individual like Van Thiel finally gets brought out into the public eye, they’re gonna milk it for all it’s worth.

So hey, let’s do a little run-down of all the memes they managed to cram into this one story.

You are basically being are put into the same category as a “sex-crazed, backwards, baby-killing, nut-job” IF:

*You dare question the medical establishment, or would ever consider alternative/wholistic options.
*You dare to think that just MAYBE there ARE some ways that cancer could be treated or cured, which didn’t involve chemo/radiation.
*You would ever think that the military would expose it’s own soldiers to harmful substances.
*You dare have any misgivings about the “Rockefeller drug cartel”.
*You dare entertain the idea that somehow birth certificates and/or social security numbers could somehow be linked to a form of financial slavery.
*You own guns.
*You dare to entertain such “dangerous” questions about the ways in which ordinary citizens might be able to take more responsibility and informed ownership over their own health, and lives in general.

So yes, well done, dutiful propaganda establishment. While this specific individual may very well deserve to be prevented from doing various things that might indeed be a health and safety hazard, you have done a splendid job in not letting the story go to waste, and fear-porning it to the Nth degree so that the rest of the citizenry can be reminded to associate any and all notions of questioning the monolithic medical/drug empire, or the ever-increasing system of total government control, with “crazy” shirtless guys with leaky blood-bag-filled trailers in their backyards…

Even Small Tails Can Wag Big Dogs: Lance Armstrong, The Media and Public Perception…

About a week ago I watched the documentary “Stop At Nothing: The Lance Armstrong Story”, which obviouslycyclisttail chronicles the rise and fall of cyclist Lance Armstrong. I found it incredibly interesting, firstly because the Lance Armstrong saga was itself something that I honestly hadn’t followed that closely over the years, but only heard about through random appearances and news pieces and the overall Lance-worship that went on for a good many years. As I watched the film and started to put together the main figures involved and see how he was of course “doping” from the very beginning, and probably only stopped during his bout with cancer (cancer caused no less almost certainly because of the doping itself) I started to appreciate another layer of the whole thing, the way in which the Lance Armstrong tale really embodies such a perfect example of how easily the hearts and minds of the general public can be guided and manipulated.

Lance Armstrong was a living icon, about as close as humans these days can get to reaching full-on godhood. Far beyond just another “sports hero”, in the minds of so many around the world, he represented some kind of “archetype of the human spirit”, something to be inspired by whether you gave a rip about cycling or not.
He was a cancer survivor after all, and his creation of the “Lance Armstrong Foundation” cemented his status as not just a living sports legend but a full-on Philanthropist guru who attended elite Hollywood functions and did PSA’s with Presidents.

So on one level, it’s not hard to say that Lance’s fraud being hidden for so long isn’t hard to believe, when we step back and think about how much his “legacy” had become interwoven and synonymous with. “American pride” for starters, but then there was the reputation of professional cycling (which is no small industry itself, particularly in places like Europe), his copious endorsements and corporate sponsors like Nike and Oakley, as well as just the broader medical/pharmaceutical establishment, having such a heroic face to attach to the notion that “we are winning the war on cancer”, and all the donation money that was flowing in due to the rejuvenating life-blood that was Lance and his larger-than-life story…

On the other hand, in the “grand scheme of things”, the “monolith” that was Lance Armstrong was really small potatoes in comparison to so many other controversial topics and scandals going on today, where issues of so much greater importance have yet to see the light of day in the open public forum. After all, in the end a cyclist cheating in the Tour de France is hardly a matter of national security or massive corporate-level fraud, but that’s really my whole point. It took years and years for the truth about Armstrong to finally come out, for the few who had testified against him to be exonerated (even though, like a true coward, he would never actually go so far as to admit to the allegations of those such as Betsy Andreu, who heard him admit to taking a laundry list of banned substances while he laid in his hospital bed).

He was, overall, just an “average guy”, with no government connections, no massive financial backing and no political clout, at least to start with. He didn’t even have a college degree, and yet this guy, along with the team he rode with (who also “doped”) and a relatively small cadre of team doctors/managers/backers all “conspired” together to the point where eventually this man was virtually untouchable, due to the fact that he came to represent such a veritable cash cow of “inspirational value”.

So to someone such as myself, the story of Lance Armstrong is astonishingly indicative of just how willing the public can be to believe the thing that it so wants to believe. We don’t like watching our “heroes” fall. We don’t like having a little “paradigms” shattered. We don’t like feeling fooled, betrayed and duped, to be shown that the thing we were so long worshipping was not the divinely-bequeathed symbol of our own uber-humanity, but just another empty idol. If this can be demonstrated to such a staggering degree in an example as comparatively minor as that of Lance Armstrong, then no wonder so many people are so absolutely opposed to questioning things with far greater ramifications, whether they be the events of 9/11, or the “safety” of adjuvants in vaccines, or the broader global techno/financial/security net that is closing around us all, a little bit more each and every day…

Fully Castigated. Thank You…

Indeed, the “measles inquisition” has begun in earnest. Ever since the lands of Disney were blighted by an outbreak of the deadlier-than-ebola measles (isn’t it?), the media and subsequent digital water-coolers have been abuzz with the newest flare up of the “controversy” over these enemies-of-your-children, the vaccine questioners…

People are now rallying to try and abolish laws allowing for voluntarily exemptions in the 20 or so states that still do. Some are even calling for the addresses of families who don’t vaccinate to be made public. It’s borderline insanity. (Remember folks, not a single person has died from this “epidemic”. Rashes, fevers, and coughs, sure, but no deaths.)

And so now we see the shaming effort beginning to hit high gear. Since the reality of the less-than lethal effects of the Measles are statistically quite difficult to hide, the fear-fomenters are having to resort to other examples of “potential” fatal repercussions looming on the horizon. Yesterday I saw this article about a 7-year-old leukemia survivor who was brought to speak before his Californian school board urging them to bar students whose parents have voluntarily exempted themselves from vaccinations. The takeaway? If you aren’t injecting every vaccine the drug companies concoct into your kids, you are killing other poor little children who’ve already suffered through cancer.. Oh the humanity.

But this is by no means the limit of the shaming campaign. You can now buy little t-shirts for your kids to wear saying “Fully Vaccinated. You’re Welcome”. How subtle. How very non group-thinking of you. (This new fashion trend brought to your by your loving friends at Merck…) Seeing such propaganda being touted by other parents (who of course, truly believe they are acting on behalf of their children’s safety) is enough to make me want to pull my hair out. “You’re welcome”…? Really? Yes, you see, because when everybody gets their shots they are helping to make all our children safer, healthier and happier… It’s a simple as that. (Right?)

Please indulge me in my ensuing response to the snarky, self-righteous message of said t-shirt. I will do my best to keep it civil:

You’re Immune System is the real hero. Defenders of vaccines love to hail the fact that vaccines are “sound science”, and yes, they do involve “sound science”, because no is denying that vaccines can indeed help create immunity to disease. But… Is this really due to some incredible innovative element present within the vials of vaccines? Or should the credit really be given to the incredible and astounding abilities of the human auto-immune system itself…? Vaccines don’t create immunity, your own body does, when introduced to any type of microscopic outside invader. Your immune system is the vital actor, not our human efforts to short-cut the process by infecting it with “weakened”, “dead” or “synthetic” versions of the same diseases. If you allow yourself to bear this underlying reality in mind when pondering the question of vaccines, you start to see that it winds up being a matter of weighing the pros and cons of just which outside agents are likely to pose the greater risk to the overall effectiveness of your immune system, since, in the end, without it you are up quite a smelly creek without a paddle. Don’t play the “sound science” card unless you’re ready to also discuss the “sound science” of other harmful elements which are present in vaccines also having the capacity to wreak havoc upon your body, such as neurotoxins like mercury and aluminum. (and yes, they are still in there…) Bam. Critical thinking and knowledge injected into the conversation. You’re welcome.

There is a corporate agenda. At least 5.7 $BILLION was given to vaccine manufactures by the U.S. government in 2011 alone. Corporate profit via taxpayer funding, the holy grail of corporate enterprise. Not quite the altruistic, free-from-conflict-of-interest arena that you thought it was. Pow. You’re welcome.

They are shielded from any meaningful legal recourse. The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 (Public Law 99-660) created the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). Vaccine manufacturers (and doctors!) are given complete immunity from any legal liability if your child is harmed by their vaccine(s). No other industry enjoys this level of protection from a product that could injure a child. If anyone does receive compensation from the VICP, they must sign away all their rights to speak a word about any of it publicly. Think about the implications of that, for just a brief second… How could a “compensation program” even exist, and in fact be giving away millions to injured families every year, if the possibility of being injured by a vaccine is so infinitesimally small? It’s called hush money. Freedom of speech bartered away to guard the reputations of companies inflicting true harm. Smack. You’re welcome.

Drug companies lie. (gasp!) They also attack anyone internally who tries to tell the truth on the fraud that they have personally witnessed occurring. Whistleblowers have indeed spoken up about both the realities of injuries from vaccines and the efforts to falsify testing results. In the case of a CDC whistleblower, he was largely ignored by the mass media, and then attempted to be totally discredited, and now is waiting to testify before Congress. A whistleblower trying to speak out from under his experience working for Merck itself was simply threatened with jail time in an attempt to shut him up. Boom. You’re welcome.

I could go on and on, but I think the catharsis is adequate for now. At the end of the day, I want to be able to look my kids in the eye and say to them, “I didn’t just go with the flow because it was easier than experiencing a little social pressure and ignorant judgments, in order to do what was best for your body and health and life in the long run, regardless of what the profiteering corporate medical establishment insisted to be the truth, so… YOU’RE WELCOME!”

Is The “Black Awakening” Gaining Momentum, And Are We Hitting The Snooze Button…?

mass-shooters6Last night’s shooting on the campus of Florida State University is the most recent ‘mass shooting’ in America, an occurrence which seemingly now become so common-place in our collective thinking that it almost seems as though societally we have become virtually numb to them, lest we happen to have been personally on the scene of the incident, or related to someone who was. A gunman walked into the campus library after midnight and shot at least three people, before being shot by police, and the very morning after it is not even the headlining national news story. We are instead being bombarded with pre-emptive backlash against Obama’s speech later tonight where he will allegedly explain his new executive order on Immigration (as if it’s the first time he’s done this!), or seeing footage of the amazing snowstorm taking place in Buffalo, New York. “So the guy only managed to wound a few people before killing himself?”, we say. Yawn. Is the Buffalo Bills football stadium going to be ok under all that snow?

Back in the days when something like Columbine happened, people all across the country were aghast and in shock, racked with the haunting, inner question of “Why? WHY!?!??”

But now, after all the intervening years with Gabby Giffords and the Boston Bombing and Sandy Hook, a few people getting shot in a University midnight study session, or at lunch in a High School by the homecoming prince, is hardly something to get our feathers ruffled over anymore. This report posits that there have now been more than 90 school shootings just in the last two years, since Sandy Hook, in December of 2012. THIS website features a “mass shooting tracker” and actually lists 253 incidents of multiple-victim shooting in 2014 alone. It’s hard to know for sure exactly how they derive their statistics, but even as a generic measure the number is nevertheless quite astounding. These kinds of incidents continue to occur again and again, sometimes with a few months hiatus here or there (such as this summer when we were allegedly on the verge of war with Russia for a couple months…) but they inevitably start up again, and the gun-control agenda slowly marches onward in stalwart manner.

I will say that when you look at the incidents since Sandy Hook, there DOES seem to be somewhat of a trend of the mass shootings being smaller in the number of victims per incident on average, yet they are increasing in frequency. Is this by design? Has the much publicized scrutiny of the events of Sandy Hook (at least within the “truther” circles) prompted the perpetrators of these programmed killings to dial it down a bit, or are the shooters perhaps just not managing to tally up as large of body counts before either being taken out by the police, or the suicide protocol kicks in?

It is also admittedly quite perplexing to notice that in an increasing number of these shooters, they are sometimes quite difficult to trace back any “tell tale signs” to programming. The recent case in Marysville, Wa with the high school shooter there is a case in point. The cold, calculated manner in which the shooter actually gunned down not just his classmates, but his close friends (one of whom was his cousin), as well as the self-inflicted gunshot to himself, chillingly seems to indicate a sinister underlying motivation, yet at this stage it is hard to make any connections to things like military family members or previous “psychological problems”.

Overall, it just seems like this whole phenomena gets weirder all the time, as these kinds of events become increasingly common, to the point of almost being “routine” to the American public…

(For more info on just what the “Black Awakening” is, I’ll point you here, here and here.)
