If Dr. Seuss spoke Stranger Truth…

tripleslingjiggerEach morning as I wake up I turn on my TV set
To see if the daily dose of terrorism’s happened yet

A habit most unusual I guess I must agree
wondering if today’s the day they’ll finally kick off World War Three

or if the DOW will plummet to the basement like a rock
sending global markets reeling and economies to shock

If you ask me how I came to such a cynical perspective
Then just humor me a moment while I get a bit reflective

The world we know today did not just suddenly turn sour
the problems going on right now began way back in that first hour

When fruits forbidden tasted sweet but led to an eviction
and serpent seeds were planted in the garden’s dereliction

Thus through the many centuries which followed this in time
were gods, who were not gods, yet being worshipped in their prime

Teaching men so many things of which they surely ought not know
False histories, dark mysteries, all coming from below

And so this tragic partnership endured down through the ages
Secrets guarded jealously by mystics, cults and sages

On to this very hour now in which we all are living
This quest to turn men into gods, it’s dead gifts keep on giving

So this is why we all can look around and plainly see
a planet quite beset with copious iniquity

The rivers flow with toxins and the oceans foam with bane
the soil is radioactive and there’s acid in the rain

The atmosphere is criss-crossed after jets going flying by
(but I swear there never used to be plaid clouds up in the sky)

The factory foods don’t even breakdown in your stomach’s bile
and there’s chemicals in water just to polish up your smile

plus injections, pills a plenty, good for all your sniffs and sneezes
only problem is the cure is often worse than the diseases

Yet allopathic medicine is only just the start
warfare treats the deaths of millions as almost a form of art

17o8hdxg9niabjpgFirst there came the Nazis and the fascists and the Japs
all united in their zealous drive to wipe us off their maps

after that the Commies suddenly became endowed
with the power to destroy us in a massive mushroom cloud

As decades passed both arsenals increasingly inflated
as Hollywood made sure to keep the Soviets all hated

And after we all thought atomic doom’s specter had lifted
A morning in September forced our gazes to be shifted

this time to Arab enemies all hiding in their caves
who now must all be bombed into their dirty mountain graves

and so it is that Evil’s Axis constantly is turning
lest the Pentagon’s war engines all seize up and stop their churning

So many things were set in motion on that fateful day
when three steel towers fell as though made of paper mache

Each year now since, it so would seem, that flags keep flying falsely
events designed no doubt to increase our collective palsy

the next in line was Syria, invade them in their crisis
they called for war, at which we balked, and now, look, here comes ISIS…

knottyproblemBut could it be?  The very thought…  Our own leaders implicated?
Just pause my friend and please consider all they’ve now dictated

Greener lights for budgets black, when safety is the goal
airport fondlers have to search for “contraband-in-hole”

the cops now look like soldiers, and our soldiers are the best
if you don’t cower as expected then you do deserve arrest

The NSA is listening, always digitally aware
Everything you’ve ever done online in data files, somewhere…

But it gets even weirder, as you looks behind the scenes
and study harder these elites who say the ends warrant the means

If it’s just a bunch of rich folks wanting to be richer still
then why these other strange pursuits which go beyond that bill?

Why do they pray to owls of stone and act out divinations?
Why frolic where the Redwoods hide their sordid recreations…?

Why do so many men of stature, prominence and brass?
All hail from the same frat house where a skull’s a drinking glass?

And please would someone tell me what exactly’s going on
with that phalus made of stone shadowing the White House lawn…

Our holy-days all point to ancient pagan gods of old
and our favorite ritual now is one we call the “Super Bowl”

But if you’re getting weary of my ugly rants and rambles
and get tempted to believe that I think all the world’s a shambles

I’ll end by saying even though this all is sad but true
to realize that everything’s under demonic coup

It might be nasty as we look around us in this day
but there WILL come a moment when at last, with no delay

as just when it might seem that no real Faith could still be found
He’ll come as lightning fills the sky, and heaven’s mighty trumpets sound….

The World Is Your Holographic Oyster…

I’m sure everyone has already heard of this by now, but it was just something I couldn’t write but write a little something on. It fits so chillingly perfect into previous treatments of the broader discussion on transhumanism, taking things to a level that even though I had sort of already imagined, even takes it to a level I had not totally conceived…

I can just see people totally embracing this whole concept, especially once this technology and computing capability eventually is merged with a viable form of digital contact lens technology, as has been under development by the likes of Babak Parviz, who has worked for the University of Washington, Google, and now has recently joined up with Amazon.

Let’s face it, once the cumbersome aspect of having to wear a big headset thing is gone, then what’s to stop the entire world from jumping on board the bandwagon of being able to “personalize” your entire world the way you decorate your computer’s desktop, or configure your smart phone. Is the weather outside looking gloomy and grey? Well just pick a nice tropical beach scene to play in the frame of your windowsill instead. Remember how amazed we all were to hear about Bill Gate’s techno-mansion when it was first built, and how he had them install digital picture frames that would show different artwork based on who was in the room? Well, that’s not just the stuff of eugenicist billionaires anymore, no! Now we can ALL enjoy such freedom of expression and artistic appreciation in our own humble little domiciles. What about things like skype and video conferencing? Instead of staring at a video screen of the person you’re talking to, perhaps a whole wall turns into a hologram that shows the other person in the room they’re sitting in, making it appear as if you’re both sitting face to face in the same building…

As the guy doing the presentation says, it’s the kind of thing where you have to admit that there’s probably all sorts of applications that will be thought of that we can’t even imagine just yet, and that, of course, is where the downfalls lie as well. When you start thinking of what this level of processing power and three-dimensional mapping, (essentially software that is able to constantly analyze the environment it is viewing, in a complex way, including people) in the context of say, government surveillance?

It’s one thing to imagine the “panopticon” having access to all computers and smart devices as they presently exist, with their built-in cameras and microphones that can be turned on remotely with or without any noticeable sign, but if people at some point are being “upgraded” to having their own “smart lenses”, which both project digital info and holograms all over the physical 3-D world, but are also constantly taking in and processing what they are looking at..? That is the point friends, when we truly have reached the point of “life imitating art”, as the scene in the Matrix becomes reality, when Morpheus is explaining to Neo,

If you are not one of us, you are one of Them.” (Neo) “What are They?” ”
“Sentient programs. They can move in and out of any software still hardwired to their system. That means that anyone we haven’t unplugged, is potentially an agent. Inside the matrix, they are everyone, and they are no one
…”

If you haven’t yet seen Gonzo Shimura’s documentary: Age of Deceit 2 – Alchemy and the Rise of the Beast Image, then seriously DO watch it. The more we see all this technology coming together in ways that the transhumanists proclaim will make all of our lives so incredibly awesome, the more we see the technology which will in actuality be that which allows the image of the Beast to finally manifest, not just in screens we look at, but in holograms which will seak to weave themselves into the natural world, blurring the lines between physical and digital realities, until the line disappears altoghether, and the “sentient beings” which police this all-encompassing matrix invade the very minds of those who have willingly embedded themselves in that system….

Spirits, Wheels and Wings: My Take on UFO’s…

So here is a brief synopsis of the progression of my thinking regarding unidentified flying objects and the broader subject of aliens, abductions, etc.:

When I was about 19, I read a book by Dave Hunt which detailed the various commonalities between typical UFO encounters and sightings, and demonic experiences. I don’t remember which book it was exactly (since I read many of his books) but overall it did a good job in convincing me that, a.) The vast amounts of eye-witness testimony points to the fact that the phenomenon is real and should not be dismissed as imagination, hallucination, or false testimony, and b.) The phenomenon is of a spiritual nature, and comes from the dark side.

That was basically intellectual construct through which I filtered UFO reports (and basically all “paranormal” sightings) for many years. Lights in the sky, “abduction” experiences, sightings of discs/saucers, and so on were all presumed to be “ethereal” in nature, ghostly and intangible demonic spirits zooming around the sky and wigging people out with unexplainable light movements. Abductions were demonic “visions” being achieved through a spiritual mind-hack, an exploitation of the dream state, or hi-jacking of the pineal gland, or something. All in all, I believed it was real, and a demonic deception, but nowhere was there room in my paradigm for any sort of “nuts and bolts” hardware. It was all spiritual smoke and mirrors from how I looked at it.

Then, my theories on the paranormal were all given a serious shaking when suddenly I was brought face to face with the “Genesis 6 paradigm”. The realization that the Bible in fact very plainly says that in the early ante-diluvian era, fallen angels did indeed come down and breed with human women, creating the Nephilim, hybrid angelic/human offspring, and bestowing the intellectual and technological know-how needed to kick-start the first human civilizations (most likely with the fallen angels functioning as regional “gods” over this first city/state/empire). Under this new perspective, it almost instantly became clear that many of my long-held assumptions about the distinctions and divisions between the “spiritual realm” and the physical world were perhaps not as clear cut as I had thought. UFO’s were among the list of things now undergoing a re-evaluation, and this topic has been one that has been more or less filed under “open for further investigation” for the last few years.

In these last few years, there have been a number of people who have challenged me to consider all kinds of possibilities, like L.A. Marzulli, Gonz Shimura, Josh Peck and Jim Wilhelmsen. As I learned more about the underground histories of occultism in Nazi Germany, I started to trace the connections between the first wave of modern UFO phenomenon in WWII Germany, and how their occult/ufo tamperings were in many ways imported here to the U.S. as a part of the broader “Operation Paperclip” effort involving rocket scientists like Werner Von Braun. I learned about how Roswell, New Mexico was first the sight of a very insidious ritual performed by American rocket scientist Jack Parsons and L. Ron Hubbard called the “Babylon working”, before it became the famed site of the “crashed flying saucer”.

In a Canary Cry interview with Wilhemsen, who lived in Roswell for several years, he spoke about a vision or a dream he received from God one day which basically showed a flying saucer, and a living “being” with flesh and veins and such, and it kept flashing back and forth between the metallic, mechanical craft and the flesh-and-blood “ship”. When I listened to Jim tell this piece of his testimony, I got some serious “Holy Spirit goosebumps” and I very much felt like God was telling ME to pay attention to this, there was definitely something important to what I was hearing. So, “Okay Lord, filing that away. Don’t know what it means right now, but it’s filed…”

ezekielsvisionAround that same time, I believe it was Josh Peck who first exposed me to the proposal that perhaps Ezekiel’s vision in chapter 1 of that prophetic book was indeed describing something relating to UFOs or ancient flying “things”. Verses 19 and 20 are particularly interesting: “When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.” Once again, filed away, f.f.r.

Then quite recently, Chris Putnam wrote a post about the death of Bob Bushman, who was an employee at Area 51 who claims to have seen real flying saucers being reverse-engineered at the base, and that there are two different types of aliens living and working at Area 51. The video included in the source article has now been taken down due to “copyright complaints”, (though I’m sure the interview can possibly still be found elsewhere) but in the interview with Bushman before he died, he shows a variety of photographs he claims are of the craft and one of the aliens, which were interesting to me, but the thing that most caught my interest was a segment where he was speaking about the nature of Boyd-Bushman-ET-photo-1the technology employed by the flying saucer himself. He spoke of how there was something involving “crystals” being combined with a particular metallic alloy which, when combined, the original weight of the metal suddenly became only a tiny fraction of what it weighed by itself. In other words, the “crystals” were a part of what made the craft almost weightless…

Somehow, watching this little segment began to trigger a confluence of these “filed” bits of info which rapidly coalesced into a singular concept that surprisingly made a whole lot of sense to me.

Perhaps it was simply the addition of this element of “crystals” which instantly brought to mind the ubiquitous use of crystals in New Age mysticism, meditative practices etc., which sparked this final realization. Many people joke about “vibrations” and “frequencies” and other such hippie-dippy lingo, but the fact is I would say that crystals are so often used in such occult practices because for whatever reason they lend themselves to being made into what Christians would call “demonized objects”.

And that is essentially how I might describe my view of UFOs at this point, if in fact there really are actual physical craft out there, whether being used/built/reverse-engineered by the government, or by other “beings, or some combination of both. “Demonized technology”. Mechanisms constructed with the intention of being “powered” by supernatural forces on the other side of the veil, using materials and technologies which allow the physical “chariot” to be hitched up to a spiritual “horse”. I think of the analogy of these play tables I’ve seen in waiting rooms at doctor’s offices, where the top of the table features little cars or figures encased in glass, and the child plays by reaching underneath the table and moving around a little magnetic knob which pulls the car. The two pieces are separated by a barrier, yet linked, making the cars appear to magically move around the table.explorersorb

Another analogy is from the 1985 film “Explorers” (classic!) where a young inventor (played by River Phoenix) invents this computer-controlled, electric “orb” thing (hey, it was the Eighties, computers could do anything…) He and two other friends build a spaceship by constructing a crude capsule out of stuff from the junkyard, and then simply program the “energy orb” to engulf the capsule, allowing them to maneuver in directions and speeds that would be completely impossible using traditional fossil-fuel propulsion systems.

I find this concept very interesting also if we go back and take a look at that “Nazi-UFO connection”. Anyone who has looked into UFOs and Nazis has heard of the “Vril Society”, which was an alleged esoteric group in Germany before and after WWII which was devoted to discovering the true existence of an energy force called “Vril”, a concept which was perhaps created, or at least popularized by, a sci fi novel by Edward Bulwer-Lytton called “The Power of the Coming Race”, which 146047502_jK9HtIOx_BlackSun1described an underground race of superhuman angel-like creatures and their mysterious energy force, Vril, an “all-permeating fluid” of limitless power.

Anyhow, in 1935, a German rocket scientist named Willy Ley came to the United States from pre-war Germany, and in an article two years later, he mentions that there was this group called Wahrheitsgesellschaft (“Society for Truth”) that formed to look for the real existence of Vril in order to build a perpetual motion machine, among other aims.

My point in mentioning all of these fragments of ideas and information is not to put forth some all-encompassing theory on UFOs, government cover-ups, “alien greys” and all the rest. I don’t have one. As far as I stand, who knows, perhaps right this very moment there actually are massive underground complexes with different species of “beings” walking around, building weird ships, creating hybrid babies, preparing for some massive “unveiling” event. Maybe flying_saucers1there isn’t, and maybe something like that will never happen, and there won’t be any “alien deception” component to the rise of the anti-Christ’s global kingdom whatsoever. I remain fully open to the entire spectrum of possibilities involving both scenarios. The takeaway point in this examination I think is simply to be adequately mentally prepared for anything, and be able to operate in a broader cosmological paradigm which looks at things like Ezekiel’s vision, and in the very least recognizes that it speaks to the fact that the universe we live in involves creatures and technologies and combinations thereof which are as of yet still immensely beyond our everyday experience. In our 20th-century mode of thinking, we have culturally tended to think in terms of technology/”science”/hardware as being over on one side of reality, while spirits/beings/”entities”/paranormal are quite removed and off on their own side of things.

This conceptual gulf I would suggest is rapidly shrinking in the culture at large, and as students of Biblical prophecy and the developing globalist world we live in, I think we need to recognize it as well, and be open to investigating just how much these two seemingly disparate fields might actually be much more integrated, or able to be integrated, than we may have ever imagined, whether we are looking at the UFO phenomenon, questions pertaining to AI research, smart grids and the “internet of everything”, or whatever else…

Do We Suffer from “A.A.F.S.”…?

apocalyptic-anticipation-fatigue-syndrome
Apocalyptic Anticipation Fatigue Syndrome.

So far, that’s the best acronym I could come up with.

It is hard for anyone who believes that we are indeed entering into the “Last Days” to not at times feel overwhelmed by the ceaseless array of warnings, wailings, railings and pronouncements of impending doom. Just yesterday, my mental faculties were presented with no less than four different occasions on which the prospect of an impending EMP attack was being put forth (and they weren’t all coming from “alternative media” sources”)

If you believe in the Bible, (and take it seriously) then you know about what Jesus says regarding the End of Age, and the “birthpangs” and wars and rumors of wars”. You know it will get increasingly unstable and tumultuous as we approach the Return of Christ, and as a result, it’s really not surprising that so many people get so easily fixated on waiting for the next big “cataclysmic thing”, be it a total global economic collapse, World War III, Israel going nuclear on it’s Arab neighbors, an earthquake so massive it changes the very landscape of the continent, “zombie apocalypse”, pandemic outbreak of disease, the next large-scale 9/11-type false flag attack, an alien invasion (real or synthetic), or some resurrected Nephilim horde spewing out of the pit to reek havoc upon mankind…

It’s not just people who believe in bible prophecy either, but it would seem that even the mainstream media is full-on participatory in promoting the idea that we’re gonna get hit with “the next big punch” at any given second. A suitcase nuke going off in NYC, or a secret army of Muslim assassins that has been sneaking across the southern border is suddenly unleashed… The net result is that we are collectively in a constant state of holding our breath, looking around, this way and that, wondering which direction that next big ‘ol punch is going to come from.

Our culture at large essentially equates the term “apocalyptic” with meaning massive, earth-shattering destruction. If an event is being described as “apocalyptic”, it more or less means it’s one of the most devastating floods, or earthquakes, or wars or whatever that humans have ever seen before. In the Bible however, “apocalypsis” in the Greek just means “unveiling” or “revealing”. Now, I’m not trying to get into a big debate on pre-Trib vs. pre-Wrath, but I will say that if Jesus’ return is what coincides with, and actually kicks off the brunt of God’s true unleashing of wrath upon the world (wrath being truly cataclysmic, not just “difficult” or a time of persecution, but where the elements are actually “destroyed by fire” 2 Peter 3:10) then this is the only sense in which “apocalyptic” can be accurately used to describe both the “Revealing” and “utter destruction”.

Anyhow… My point in all this, is that even though yes, we have absolutely seen an unprecedented number of “fantastic events” in our lifetimes, I would still have to say that when you step back and look at it all, the vast majority of how things have progressed towards a one-world government, one-world economy and one-world religion have not been via huge, massive cataclysmic events, but through a slow, steady progression that most people scarcely notice. I saw a piece on this show called “Brain Games” the other day, talking about how we are wired to notice sudden changes, but not so much gradual ones. They showed a painting of a town on the screen for about ten seconds, then ask if you could identify how many things in the painting changed. There were a few that were obvious, because they suddenly appeared/disappeared. But the rest were slow. From the beginning of the time to the end, the entire color of the sky actually changed, but you don’t even notice it, because your eyes are busily darting around the picture looking for rapid, sudden changes, and so the gradual color shift unfolds right in front of you and you don’t even realize it…

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

I grew up in a church environment where basically the prevailing mindset regarding the “End Times” was that sure, things in the world today are “evil” and getting further away from God, BUT, overall, we’re going to more or less keep trucking along in our comfortable middle-class American church-going lifestyle until Jesus suddenly beams us all up one unexpected moment, and the world is left without a clue, and then the “tribulation” will begin, and that’s when stuff get’s crazy.

I don’t believe that anymore. I guess now, I’m just at the place where I understand that being “sober-minded” doesn’t just entail being able to look at all the “birthpang events” and know that it means that Christ’s return is getting closer. Being “awake and sober” also means remembering what the scriptures also say about how people will be saying “peace and security”, all the way up until Jesus returns, until that final Day, that final moment when EVERYTHING in the world is baptized with fire, and God goes all the way with making a new heaven, and a new earth…

In the meantime, I am ever-increasingly feeling convicted that it’s not just the “big scary events” that we as Christians should so concerned with being prepared for, with all manner of things like food storage and guns and shelters and whatnot. It’s the “peace and security” that almost poses a more dangerous threat. The gradual, almost imperceptible change. The whole “boiling a frog” metaphor. We have now for decades been debating and discussing topics such as just what the “Mark of thedoomsday_wrist_watch Beast” will be. Will it be a chip? An implant? A code? Some kind of genetic “enhancement”? Every year the debate goes on, we all baby-step a little closer to that system. We all hold our breath, convinced that at any given day, the market could crash, the sky will fall, and then the need will arise for the Mark to be issued, but in the meantime, we’re still using our debit cards, and smart-phone apps, and digitized bank accounts, etc…

But what if it doesn’t actually happen like that. What if humanity, those who don’t believe in the Bible at all, and those who say they do, all of us, are all kept peering at the sky, glued to our screens, waiting for the market to drop, for the bomb to go off, for martial law to be declared… Waiting for that “doomsday clock” to finally, FINALLY “strike midnight”… And after decades of our groggy, droopy-eyed “apocalyptic anticipation”, we finally look down, and realize that somewhere in the midst of our planning and preparing and prognosticating, we somehow numbly went right ahead and took the Mark ourselves, and didn’t even realize it…

Portals and Prisons…

snowpiercer-engine-ed-harris

This morning, I loaded up my mp3 player with some fresh content as I prepared to launch into my routine of making breakfast, washing dishes, and getting things moving along in the daily routine, as I usually do. (don’t have a dishwasher, so doing dishes by hand almost inevitably involves listening to one of my regular podcasts while I scrub away) Today, it happened to be Derek Gilbert’s latest interview from “A View from the Bunker”, as he spoke with author Dr. Michael Lake about his new book ‘The Shinar Directive’. Fabulous stuff. In many ways, it really reminded me of just how much information and understanding was all simultaneously assaulting my previous understanding of the Bible and the cosmos it describes, almost five years ago.

As phenomenal an idea as the “Genesis 6 paradigm” (the belief that fallen angels or “Watchers” mated with human women and had hybrid offspring) is to most church-reared folks, it is really just the launching point into an entire spectrum of ideas and events which shake most of our preconceived assumptions about the universe we live in, as is well explained in the aforementioned interview, which starts off with a great discussion of the person of Nimrod, a central part of Dr. Lake’s book.

Nimrod, as Dr. Lake explains, actually achieved something even beyond what the Watchers themselves were able to accomplish, that is, he “became a Gibborim”, a “mighty man before the Lord” (Genesis 10:8). Many scholars have limited this verse to simply meaning that he was a great warrior, hunter, king, but in fact, a deeper look reveals that what this is saying that Nimrod actually found a way to actually become a “nephilim”, through some manner of dark occult practice which the scripture (understandably!) does not expound upon, and became the figure who to this day stands as the epitome of what they hope and strive to become themselves, and what they hope to actually succeed in building as the coup de grace against God and His angelic army. Essentially, it could be regarded as the Tower of Babel 2.0, a gate to the heavens which Satan and his minions believe will give them the chance they’ve been waiting for to storm His presence and dethrone Him once and for all. I certainly never heard about those kinds of things in Sunday School…

Recently I saw the film “Snowpiercer“, which honestly I must say has to instantly rank right up at the top of the list of movies containing multiple layers of gnostic symbolism and interpretations. Seriously, I’d say it rivals the Matrix trilogy in terms of how much embedded ideas could be found within this screenplay, and as a result I’m still in the process of unpacking it all, but there is plenty that jumps out from onset, indeed just from the premise alone. Like all good examples of gnostic/NWO/fight-the-system movies, it works from several angles, the first being the more obvious allegory of humans fighting against an oppressive totalitarian system run by other humans. But, for those who have begun to understand what the underlying belief system of Gnosticism is truly all about, by the end of the film, we can start to recognize the similar themes being presented in terms of it working as a metaphor for “oppressed beings” seeking to find a way out of the prison they are in, built by a deluded and maniacal “Creator” who is always portrayed as having no inherent sense of morality in the end. The “tyrant god”, who must ultimately be outwitted and out-maneuvered in order to achieve true, lasting freedom…

snowpiercerfishtankIt is always about “escaping the Matrix”, escaping the “Cube”, the prison, the maze, the oppressive system. The genius of this gnostic “plot device” is that it appeals to what is often times a genuine reaction against real human examples of sin and misuse of authority, when in actuality we are being sucked into cheering for the cause of snowpiercerrevoltthe fallen angels who feel that God has callously and ruthlessly judged them for rebelling against Him, convincing themselves that they are in fact the benevolent ones, the true saviors of humanity, the “rebels” against an evil galactic empire…

The scene at the end of the film, where the freedom-fighters reach the “Engine” is perhaps the most revealing, in terms of just blatant visual cues. The room housing the “eternal engine” resembles a typical Hollywood portrayal of a “Stargate” if anything does, yet, in an interesting plot twist, the ultimate way of escape lies in blowing open the “gate” to the frozen outside world, rather than stepping into the role of becoming the conductor oneself. Like I said, there is a LOT that could be unpacked from this movie, but in the end we can at least say that it serves as yet another example of these same gnostic themes showing up with increasingly regularity in the latest Hollywood releases, alongside films like Noah, Transcendence, Maze Runner, Hunger Games, X-Men, Lucy, The Purge, and on and on and on…

It’s sort of funny, actually. One of the first things I came across when I encountered this realm of what some might call “fringe Christianity”, was this guy on youtube talking about “Nephilim Stargates“, and at the time I thought, “Wow, what a NUT!” 519hrrGgZeL__SY344_BO1,204,203,200_

But, alas, several years later, I count myself among those who now look at the Bible as the Word of God, and very much do see it describing things like interdimensional portals, and genetic manipulation, and a “Shinar Directive” which very much does link those in occult societies today to the person of Nimrod thousands of years ago. The objective is really quite unchanged, and even being loudly proclaimed all around us, if only we stop and take notice…

Into The Electric Cloud of Unknowing…

Ok, so about five years ago or so I had this “great idea” for a sort of sci-fi novel set in the not-so-distant-future. It was around the time when things like Facebook and smartphones were starting to catch on, and in the midst of all of that I started envisioning a type of dystopian scenario that looked something like this….

The “story” opens with floating over scenes of steamy rainforests and majestic mountain peaks. Soothing music plays in the background. A person is heard snoring… Then, the serene imagery is suddenly interrupted by the beeping of an alarm clock. Suddenly, a little alarm clock icon pops up, and the relaxing dream sequence of floating over nature blips away. The person opens their eyes, stares at the ceiling, and their field of vision comes alive with a cacophony of digital readouts. An email inbox pops up on the left. A weather report emerges on the right. A news anchor starts reading their morning report in a video feed in another corner. News bytes and random information scroll across the bottom of the “screen”. But the screen is not a screen, it is the person’s own view. The figure crawls out of bed and mumbles “start coffee”, and the coffee machine in the next room starts to percolate. He answers emails, makes a few phone calls, checks on his latest order from Amazon, all without lifting a finger. His eyes and voice do all the “clicking”. The desktop is in his own head…

I was so mesmerized by this chilling idea of everyone walking around, not with smartphones in their pockets, but smartphones in their heads! How much further into the technological abyss would that take our society? Can you imagine being able to walk down the street, get directions for anywhere or anything, keep track of the locations of all your “friends” simultaneously, make purchases without touching your wallet, or even be able to google search anyone you came across simply by looking at them and using some facial-recognition app?

It’s a good thing I never got too serious about writing the book, because in reality Ray Kurzweil had conceived of the idea, along with so much more, far before I ever did, and he wasn’t thinking in terms of writing amateur science fiction…

I finally got around to watching the documentary “Transcendent Man” the other day, and it really helped me to get a much fuller appreciation of what his vision about things like “The Singularity” is all about, not to mention that it really blows your mind that the guy who is making all these bold, fantastic projections is now working for Google, and has in fact been given the resources to try and actually create “AI”! Anyways, the documentary is something I would recommend to anyone who is alive right now and has ever used a computer.

Here is a video of Kurzweil being interviewed about what he’s up to at Google:

and here are some interesting vids about “Google glass” and “augmented reality”:

Finally, a preview of another documentary called “The Singularity”:

DIY Transhumanism…?

“GONE ARE MICROSOFT’S WINDOWS INTO THE DIGITAL WORLD, REPLACED BY A UNION OF MAN AND MACHINE: THE IPHONE OR ANDROID…”

This is simply fascinating.  The entirety of the “transhumanism gospel” is contained in this 13 minute clip.  Proof positive that such “far-fetched” ideas are indeed taking root in the minds of down-to-earth people, and not just something being taken seriously by a few well-funded “big thinkers” out there…

Here’s an incredibly telling quote from an accompanying article for the video on theverge.com:

“The boys from Grindhouse Wetwares both sucked down Parliament menthols the whole time we talked. There was no irony for them in dreaming of the possibilities for one’s body and willfully destroying it. “For me, the end game is my brain and spinal column in a jar, and a robot body out in the world doing my bidding,” said Sarver. “I would really prefer not to have to rely on an inefficient four-valve pump that sends liquid through these fragile hoses. Fuck cheetahs. I want to punch through walls.”

Flesh and blood are easily shed in grinder circles, at least theoretically speaking. “People recoil from the idea of tampering inside the body,” said Tim. “I am lost when it comes to people’s unhealthy connections to your body. This is just a decaying lump of flesh that gets old, it’s leaking fluid all the time, it’s obscene to think this is me. I am my ideas and the sum of my experiences.” As far as the biohackers are concerned, we are the best argument against intelligent design.

Neither man has any illusions about how fringe biohacking is now. But technology marches on. “People say nobody is going to want to get surgery for this stuff,” admits Cannon. But he believes that will change. “They will or they will be left behind. They have no choice. It’s going to be weird and uncomfortable and scary. But you can do that, or you can become obsolete.”

We came back into the kitchen for dinner. As I wolfed down steak and potatoes, Cannon broke into a nervous grin. “I want to show you something. It’s not quite ready, but this is what we’re working on.” He disappeared down into the basement lab and returned with a small device the size of a cigarette lighter, a simple circuit board with a display attached. This was the HELEDD, the next step in the Grindhouse Wetwares plan to unite man and machine. “This is just a prototype, but when we get it small enough, the idea is to have this beneath my skin,” he said, holding it up against his inner forearm.

The smartphone in your pocket would act as the brain for this implant, communicating via bluetooth with the HELEDD, which would use a series of LED lights to display the time, a text message, or the user’s heart rate. “We’re looking to get sensors in there for the big three,” said Tim. “Heart rate, body temperature, and blood pressure. Because then you are looking at this incredible data. Most people don’t know the effect on a man’s heart when he finds out his wife is cheating on him.”

Cannon hopes to have the operation in the next few months. A big part of what drives the duo to move so fast is the idea that there is no hierarchy established in this space. “We want to be doing this before the FDA gets involved and starts telling us what we can and cannot do. Someday this will be commercially feasible and Apple will design an implant which will sync with your phone, but that is not going to be for us. We like to open things up and break them.”

I point out that Steve Jobs may have died in large part because he was reluctant to get surgery, afraid that if doctors opened him up, they might not be able to put him back together good as new. “We’re grinders,” said Cannon. “I view it as kind of taking the pain for the people who are going to come after me. We’re paying now so that it will become socially acceptable later.”

These folks are ready, they’re hungry, they’re envisioning the all very things that they see someday becoming the norm, the integration of man and machine, and I believe they are right in that respect.  Sadly, they are right…
